Demo build v1.4.3 - New status effects and Counter attacks


New Status Effects

In order to satisfy the Relic effects I've had to introduce both Poison and Radiation effects. Only certain enemies will have a chance to inflict these effects and they will last for a period of time after battle. It's possible I may introduce these as additional traps you can set in the next release.


Effect Details

  • Poison - Minus 1 hp for each move. Heal to recover status.
  • Radiation - Minus 2 hp for each move. Heal to recover status.

Enemy Counter Attacks

All enemies can have a chance to counter attack if you attack them first. This will satisfy my Relic effects that prevent these counters. Counters will not be as strong as normal attacks but can deal additional damage which may cause you trouble if you don't have Relics to prevent or high enough evasion via Defense cards or Relics.

Relic Updates

The last bit of development I need to do before release is to make sure all Relic effects are working. I can confirm that all Relics in the game are now functional. 

  • Added Relic effect for no mecha counter.
  • Added Relic effect for empty.
  • Added Relic effect for stun.
  • Added Relic effect for no encounters.
  • Added Relic effect for damage increase.
  • Added Relic effect for avoid damage.
  • Added Relic effect for pills.

Other changes

  • Updated Phaser to the latest v3.x.
  • Added visual FX for Poison status and Radiation status.
  • Fixed incorrect enemy removed after defeat in battle.

We are in the End Game

Working on full game features from this point onwards. Hopefully I have some more time to fix any remaining bugs before full release. If you want to help out just play the demo and send me feedback!
