Demo build v1.4.4 - I'm so done!


It happened - I fixed the last bug in my game!

Mid week I knew I had one final bug to fix before I could call my game finished. It didn't take me long and I had the most underwhelming feeling of - "I guess I'm done now". However, I'm no stranger to big projects outside of game dev. This is how it happens. You experience a full rollercoaster of emotions and feelings. At the end you almost feel a bit numb but glad it's all over. I know I'll be much more happy once we get to release day and the weeks after that which will be a celebration.

Now fixing the last bug wasn't quite good enough. I also patched up the counter attacks lacking animations in the last build and also included both Poison and Radiation in the selection of trap cards. (cuz why not?!)

Final fixes in this build

  • Added animations for counter attacks.
  • Fixed Mecha Dragon incorrect position on battle field.
  • Updated attack animation for Mecha  Dragon.
  • Added Poison and Radiation effects to trap cards.

Will I ever be updating it again?

Yes, of course but I'll be focused on Release support and fixes more than features.

We are in the End Game

Working on full game features from this point onwards. Hopefully I have some more time to fix any remaining bugs before full release. If you want to help out just play the demo and send me feedback!
